ABOUT
Lars Andersson began in a Brooklyn studio in the mid-2000s, where Lars produced his own take on high-quality knitwear — a quiet, considered aesthetic shaped by his Swedish roots and a love of minimalist design. In 2013, Lars traveled to Kathmandu, Nepal, to create a sample collection. There, he fell in love with the extraordinary skill and craftsmanship of the local artisans — and decided to move his sampling and production from New York to Kathmandu for good. In 2020, Lars opened a dedicated knitting studio alongside his Nepali business partner. Today, a small team of highly skilled craftspeople hand-looms every garment — blending bohemian, nomadic-inspired warmth with the clean lines of Swedish minimalism. Each piece is made from superfine merino and cashmere sourced from some of the world's most respected specialist mills, alongside organic cotton and linen — then hand-dyed, thoughtfully designed, and made to order. Nothing is mass produced, every garment carries the mark of the hands that made it.
